Abstract (EN)
Today, yarn linear density being used in continuous filament yarn making, cross-section shape of yarn and number of filaments that make up a continuous filament yarn can be preferred as manufacturing data. Since the changing of these three parameters affect the specifications of single filaments and raw material fibre, both the characteristics of yarns manufactured and the characteristics of cloth are affected. In this study, the effects of filament linear density, cross-section shapes and the change in the filament numbers that make up a continuous filament yarn which is partially oriented (POY) and texturing yarn characteristics will be analysed.
