Abstract (EN)

The study sought to discover the dimensions and effects of the military and political dimension of the Iranian-Palestinian relations between the year 1996, since the formation of the first Palestinian government after the Oslo Agreement in 1993 to the year 2015. After the results of the 2014 Israeli war on Gaza appeared. That period witnessed many changes, whether on Palestine, such as the second Palestinian insurrection in 2000. Moreover, the Gaza Strip was subjected to three wars in the years 2008-2012-2014. In addition to the victory of Hamas in the Palestinian legislative elections in 2006, which coincided with the imposition of a siege on the Gaza Strip. The same period of time also witnessed important changes in Iran, such as the succession of three presidents, namely Muhammad Khatami, Ahmadi Nejad and Hassan Rouhani. Note that the period between 1996 - 2015 witnessed important transformations in the Iranian scene that had major effects on Iranian regional policy in general and Palestine in particular. Such as the American occupation of Iraq in 2003 and economic sanctions imposed on Iran. In addition to the so-called "Arab Spring" revolutions in the Middle East region. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is that Iran has played a major role in developing the military capabilities of the Palestinian parties. While Iran played a regular role in the issue of political support for the Palestinian cause. The study also confirms the existence of Iranian influence in Palestine in general and the Gaza Strip in particular. The financial support provided to the Palestinian parties is the main Iranian entry point to finding influence for them. However, this influence is limited to the Palestinian parties and movements, and its influence did not reach the entire Palestinian people. The study also expects, as a result of the instability experienced by the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian parties; The successive economic and regional crises with Iran and Gaza strip has reached a state of military self-sufficiency military that lead to a decline in Iranian and political support in the future towards the Palestinian cause.
