Abstract (EN)
In the history of humanity, the rehabilitation process (replanning/reconstruction) of urban areas destroyed by ongoing disasters (natural/man-made) is still an important architectural problem to this day. The replanning process is an important component in rehabilitating the urban environment (socially, economically, and culturally) after emergency shocks. In the light of this information, this thesis discusses replanning strategies and policies as disaster risk management system tools for Destroyed urban areas in Palestine. At the same time, it offers a model for the implementation of these policies and strategies and explores possible solutions and alternatives to an urban area that was destroyed because of the war against Gaza in 2014. To approach the study with a correct theoretical framework, the concepts related to disaster management and the application stages of the disaster risk management system have been examined. He also talked about disaster management practices and strategies, and policies for re-planning and reconstruction in Palestine. This thesis work aims to understand the disasters in Palestine clearly and manage them correctly, and then guide the replanning policies to reduce disaster damage to be a part of the development plans.
