Abstract (EN)
In 'Semiotic Analysis of the Use of Photo Manipulation in Film Posters, Yorgos Lanthimos Movie Posters' thesis, wide expression possibilities of the photo manipulation techniques are examined in details; especially how they are used in posters as an artistic context in semiological perspective. The relationship between photo manipulation, basic design principles and films are studied as conceptual readings. The photo manipulated film posters of Yorgos Lanthimos, who is a prominent director in Greek New Wave Cinema will be resolved through semiotic readings.
