Use of typography in movie credits

Graphic design has affected the field of cinema with its presence, as it has affected every field. While movie credits consisted of fixed text on the screen in the past, today this situation has gone far beyond and has turned into a separate design medium that boosts the movie. In the selection of this thesis topic, the typographical diversification and development of the enrichment experienced played an important role, along with the developing technology in movie credits designs. In this research, first of all, typography, which is one of the basic elements of graphic design, has been extensively covered. Later, aiming to better understand the use of typography in the movie credits, the history of the movie credits designs from the past to the present is divided into periods. It has been tried to be analyzed by examining the change and development of typographic approaches through remarkable examples from the first credits available to the present.
