Abstract (EN)

A documentary film is equal to a visual book. Documentary films are a guide that turn the depth of cinema and intimate knowledge of books into a journey for people, which is why they are unique treasures that contain aesthetic, history and science within themselves. It is a duty of an artist to develop, diversify and enrich this particular treasure and to present it to both today and the future. In this documentary, we will be discussing and explaining Film Noir, one of the most significant genres of documentary film. Just like every other genre, Film Noir has left its own marks on cinema. While most of these marks have become permanent, some of them died out due to the conditions of the their time. Film Noir has claimed its place in the history of the cinema as one of the genres that has been affected by these changes. Although it went through changes, it has withstood the test of time thanks to its strong manner of telling and and impressive way of visual expression. Film Noir, which survive this resistance strongly, has also managed to come up with new meanings and ways of expressions by diffusing through other genres. Its journey that began with detective films has continued with science fiction and even comedy. Film Noir, which came up with narratives as impressive as in detective films, has managed to become one of the ever-present genres of cinema.
