This is the point of view of the final school?s teachers about the organizational culture type of the school - Case study of Samsun, Bursa, İstanbul Florya Final Schools

The aim of the study is to identify the point of view of the Final school?s teachers about the organizational culture type of the schools in Istanbul Florya, Samsun and Bursa. The research also aims to analyze if the cultural view and understanding of the teachers? might differ based on some parameters such as their age, education level, sex, seniority, period of time spent in the same school, the type of the school they work for (preschool , primary school, secondary school). The data is analyzed according to the variables at demographic level in order to identify the stronger type of culture among ?role culture?, ?support culture?, ?success culture? and ?strength/power culture?.The research is done with 179 teachers who worked in Final schools during the autumn semester of the academic year 2009-2010. 52 surveys out of 176 surveys have been omitted. Remaining 124 surveys have been evaluated.For the evaluation of the research,? Scale of Organization Culture Type? system which is developed by Erkmen and Ordun (2001) is used. In the research for the statistical analysis of the data, SPSS for Windows 15.0 application is used. For the frequency, percentage, standard deviation and regular allocation ?Kolmogorov ? Smirnov? allocation test is used. For the comparison of quantifier data; in the case of having two groups, ?Mann Whitney U Test?, for the comparison between the groups ?Kruskal Wallis Test? is used.According to the processed data, we can say that the teachers mostly recognize the ?strength/power culture? approach from the organizational culture types. ?Success? and ?Role? culture approach follows this. The least recognized culture type is ?Support Culture?
