Effects of financial awareness on investor choice: A research concerning financial awareness of private bank workers

Main purpose of this study is to determine the relation between finansal literacy and investment choices. Definition of investment and investor, factors that effect investment decisions have been broadly analyzed. Financial education is the process by which financial consumers/investors improve their understanding of financial products and concepts and, through information, instruction and/or objective advice, develop the skills and confidence to become more aware of financial risks and opportunities, to make informed choices, to know where to go for help, and to take other effective actions to improve their financial well-being. financial education also needs to be distinguished from consumer protection, although there is some overlap between the two. Consumer protection and financial education share many of the same goals but each takes a somewhat different approach. Both financial education and consumer protection have as aims to ensure the well-being of consumers and to shield them from harm. The provision of information on financial issues is common to both. However, financial education supplements this information with the provision of instruction and advice while consumer protection emphasises legislation and regulation designed to enforce minimum standards, require financial institutions to provide clients with appropriate information, strengthen the legal protection of consumers when something goes wrong, and provide for systems of redress. In chapter one, definition investment and investor have been surveyed. In chapter two, factors that effect decisions of investors on investment in financial market have been determined. In the third chapter effects on financial education on financial markets have been studied. In the forth chapter to tak place a resaerch in this subject
