Abstract (EN)
This study aims to identify the geographical features of cultural heritage routes in the Finike and Kumluca districts, located in the western part of Antalya province, promote these routes, and provide recommendations for sustainable tourism planning. Finike and Kumluca are two significant areas that have hosted numerous civilizations from ancient times to the present, boasting a rich historical and cultural heritage. The study thoroughly examines the natural and cultural geographical characteristics of these two districts. Firstly, the general geographical features of Finike and Kumluca have been addressed. In the second section, cultural heritage elements such as ancient cities and historical structures in both areas have been introduced. Subsequently, an analysis of the cultural heritage routes was conducted, and the geographical features of these routes were evaluated. Recommendations have been proposed for the more effective planning and promotion of cultural heritage routes in Finike and Kumluca. These recommendations include marking the routes according to specific standards, enhancing promotional activities, raising awareness among local communities and tourists, and investing in infrastructure. Additionally, strategies have been developed to protect cultural and natural assets within the framework of sustainable tourism principles. This study aims to contribute to the preservation of the cultural and natural heritage of Finike and Kumluca, enhance the tourism potential of the area, and revitalize the local economy. Additionally, it is intended to serve as a guide for local governments, tourism businesses, and other stakeholders. Key Words: Finike, Kumluca, Cultural Tourism, Cultural Route
