Abstract (EN)

Süleyman-nâme-i Kebîr was written by Firdevsî-i Rûmi between the second half of the 15th century and the first half of the 16th century. In this study, the 34th and 35th volumes of the book were transcribed into the Latin alphabet which held in Istanbul University Rare Books Library, under the number T.Y.9884 and Topkapı Palace Museum Library, Treasury 1528. In the first chapter of the three-part work, information about Firdevsi's life, works and literary personality is given. The second chapter focuses on the spelling, shape, style and language characteristics of the work over the volumes of Süleyman-nâme-i Kebîr's work. Then, the work is evaluated within the content and the findings are examined in detail under the headings of Religious Elements, Historical Elements and Nature. In the final chapter of the work, the manuscripts of the 34th and 34th volumes of the book are introduced, following edition critique describing the way in which the transcriptional text was prepared. In the Conclusion chapter, the information and findings at the end of the study are placed and and the Index containing the specific names in the work is prepared. Following the Index, the facsimile was included.
