Abstract (EN)
In this study for determining the effects of the phytohormones on the morphologic characters of 1+0 aged seedlings, Çankırı originated acorns were waited into the solutions of 150-300-500 ppm NAA, 150-250-400 ppm IAA, 100-200-400 ppm MCPA for 8-10.9 gr acorns; 100-200-400 ppm 2-4 D, 150- 250-400 ppm IBA, 150-300-500 ppm IPA for 11-13.9 gr groups and seedling height (SH), root collar diameter (RCD), branch/bud number (BrN/BN), stem fresh and dry weight (SFW,SDW), root fresh and dry weight (RFW,SDW), seedling dry weight (SeDW), Dry root percentage (DRP), SDW/RDW ratio, Healthy index (H=SH/RCD), Quality index (QI) characters were investigated. On the SH, the best effects were determined for IBA(32.744 cm) and IPA(31.304 cm). Also, IBA 400 (8,987 mm) showed the best effect on RCD. There is no effect of the hormonal treatments on BrN and BN. On the SFW, IBA (7,340 gr) and IPA ( 7,046 gr); on the SDW, IBA(4,386 gr) and IPA (4,161 gr); on the RFW, IBA (15,894 gr) and IPA (14,814 gr); on the RDW, IBA (9,202 gr); on the SeDW, IBA (13,588 gr) and IPA(12,597 gr) hormones showed the best effects. The highest DRP values were obtained for MCPA (74,567) and NAA (70,957). But if the capillary root ratio was taken into the consideration, IBA and IPA hormones shows the superiority. The weakest root development was determined for IAA (SDW/RDW=0.51), vii whereas the best ones for 2-4 D (0.42) and MCPA(0.40). The seedlings have the highest H were obtained for NAA 150 (4,297) and IAA 150 (4,227). Also; seedlings have the highest Q were obtained for MCPA 200 (3,290) and IAA 400 (3,217) treatments. In this connection, the convenient hormonal treatments should be applied to the pedunculate oak seedlings as to the using area. Also, the studies should be focused on designating the suitable doses and the other application methods. Key words : Phytohormone, pedunculate oak, seedling, morphologic character
