In this study; the phytohormones from oksin group such as; IPA (250, 500, 750 ppm), IBA (200, 400, 600 ppm), NAA (500, 1000, 1500 ppm), IAA (150, 300, 450 ppm) were applied to the seeds of scots pine originated from Araç-Dereyayla for 24 hours. After that, the seeds were sowed to the pot-trays in 60 % turf + 20 % manure + 20 % stream sand medium and some morphological traits were examined on 1+0 aged saplings. The biggest and smallest root collar diameter values found 2,045 and 0,867 mm in 450 ppm IAA and 400 ppm IBA, while the sapling height values found 6,129 and 4,322 cm in 500 ppm NAA and 750 ppm IPA (4,322 cm) treatments, respectively. Also, the longest and smallest root length found 20,781 and 14,400 cm, in 450 ppm IAA and 1000 ppm NAA, while these values varied from 26,98 to 10,18 for root number in 1500 ppm NAA and control, respectively. The biggest stem dry weight and root dry weight values found 0,445 g and 0,297 g in 450 ppm IAA and 1500 ppm NAA, respectively. For root percentage, the biggest value (43,022) was obtained in 500 ppm IPA, while the lowest value (36,584) in 450 ppm IAA. As to stem dry weight/root dry weight and sapling height/root collar diameter ratio; the biggest values, 7,824 and 13,731 in 450 ppm IAA and 400 ppm IBA were obtained, respectively. The biggest respective values for needle weight and number were 0,309 g and 131, 80 in 600 ppm IBA and 450 ppm IAA treatments, respectively.Key words: Phytohormone, scots pine, sapling
