Abstract (EN)

This is an experimental study in order to invastigate the effects of thecomputer based lessons to the comprehension, the attitude to the lesson and theduration that it last for the students who are studying at secondary school 9th gradephysic course. The study has been executed in 9E and 9D classes at Aliağa Vocationaland Technical Education Center High School in zmir. The classes were randomlydetermined as 9E experimental and 9D control group.During the study whilecomputer based education was being applied to the experimental group, the controlgroup was educated traditionally. It has been developed to measure the precondition attitudes while formingexperimental and contol groups. Physic achievement test, the groups were tried tomake equal by considering the score taken from physic lesson attitude survey andfirst term physic grades. In order to gather the data, the knowledge in the intelligence area, comprehension and application intelligence and the physic lesson to measure it?slasting. In order to meassure their attitudes towards the lesson, physic lesson attitudesurvey was used. The data has been analyzed by using statistical methods like SPSS10.0 for windows arithmetic average package programme, standart deviation, independency `t? test.Depending on the findings on this study, these results have been found:1. No meaningful difference has been found between the experimentalgroup average knowledge score level and the control group avarage knowledge scorelevel in favour of experimental group.2. A meaningful difference has been found between the experimental groupaverage comprehension and application score level and the control group avaragecomprehension and application score level in favour of experimental group.3. A meaningful difference has been found between the experimental grouptotal average intelligence score and the control group total average intelligence scorein favour of experimental group.4. A meaningful difference has been found between the experimental groupaverage attitude score and the control group average attitude score in favour ofexperimental group.5. No meaningful difference has been found between the experimentalgroup knowledge, application level and the control group knowledge, averagecomprehension level.6. A meaningful difference has been found between the experimental groupaverage comprehension level and average total lasting and the control groupapplication level and average total lasting in favour of experimental group.Considering the results, there has been suggestions about physic educationat the end of the study.KEY WORDS: Computer, Physic Education, Computer Based Education
