For chemical synthesis and solvatation procedures finding alternatives to toxic, volatile organic solvents is a particularly important goal in recent studies. Room temperature ionic liquids have a number of properties which make them suitable alternatives to conventional solvents. They have very low vapour pressure and hence produce virtually no hazardous vapours; in addition they are non-explosive and thermally stable providing a relatively wide liquid range. Their polar nature means they are often immiscible with organic structures. Preparation of the ionic liquids containing organic structure part will provide solution the solubility problems for non-polar organic structures when use of room temperature ionic liquids as solvents for synthesis and other processes. For this purpose, in these studies, a few numbers of ionic liquids containing organic fluorescence group have been prepared and structural identification of all synthesised molecules were done by using FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic techniques.
