Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to determine applicability of waste heat recovery system in a steam power plant. ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) was integrated into existing steam Rankine cycle. Energy and exergy analyze were applied for each component of ORC. Different working fluid options was taken into account and compared with each other in graphs. On the basis of results steam powered circulating water pump has been adapted to system via engaged with ORC turbine. Economic analyzes of waste heat recovery system was carried out and the results were commentated. Full load (660 MW) parameters were considered in the calculation. Regarding design parameters, acquired results were discussed. Thermodynamic, economic and environmental facts, are the main restriction of the study. According to experienced results, the main criteria is to select a proper fluid for ORC. In order to shorten payback period either covered flue gas duct against acid dew point on the downstream of ORC evaporator thus possible to reduce more flue gas temperature or to supply loyal customer utilizing flue gas waste via any ORC component.
