Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is determining the teaching methods preferred by educators and their usage ranges according to the subjects in flute education in Turkey and exposing the efficiency ranges of this methods through the obtained datas .In this study, quantitive and qualitative data indicating methods and techniques are used together, towards the strategy of diversity. For indicating the data of the general and specific teaching methods used in instrumental education, the technique of resource review, for determining the usage ranges of the methods according to the subjects, the technique of survey, for indicating the data of the efficiency range of the methods, both univariate outright experimental data indicating method and document investigation method (for collecting the teaching materials of the experimental phase) is used.At the phase of survey it is tried to be reached to the all educators teaching flute at secondary schools and universities in Turkey. And also the experimental phase is done with the flute students of The Anatolian High School of Fine Arts (A.H.S.F.A.) in Ankara. At the phase of experimental application, two groups are made for the each subject putting six students together in each group. The evaluation of this 16 month study is made with the post tests applied to the students of A.H.S.F.A.(20 students) and the result is determined according to the success rates. The findings put the case about the efficacy of the teaching methods preferred by the educators in accordance with the subjects so that the mostly efficient proper teaching methods, used in flute teaching as regards the subjects are indicated. Accordingly, the suggestions touching the methods which can be used or can be continued to be used for the flute teaching process are presented to the educators.
