Özet (EN)

In this study, The tribological performance using various lubricating oils of a two-stroke one cylinder gasoline engine have investigated. The gasoline engine and simulation testing machine have been used in the investigation of tribological performance of the lubrication oils. The gasoline engine was tested 100 hours using lubrication oils. The mineral oil, hazelnut oil and hazelnut oil methly ester have been used as lubrication oil. The wear and friction in the surface of cylinder was examinated using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and EDS (Energy Dispersive Spectrograph). The wear in the surface of cylinder has increased in the used of hazelnut oil and hazelnut oil methly ester in SEM and EDS analysis. Engine exhaust emissions have been measured. CO and NOX emissions have increased in in used of hazelnut oil. Mineral oil, hazelnut oil, hazelnut oil methly ester and canola oil have been used In the simulation testing machine. The gray cast iron, CrN coated and TiN coated cylinder sufaces have been used as cylinder sample. The simulation testing machine was tested 40 hours using various lubricating oils and cylinder samples. The wear loss in the gray cast iron cylinder sample has increased according to CrN and TiN coated cylinder samples in the experimental results. Key Words: Cylinder, Wear, Lubrication, Hazelnut Oil, CrN, TiN
