Abstract (EN)

Football, which lost its quality of being a watching game in our day, has become more recalled by the economical values it created. Many components from the television broadcasting to advertisments, from club management to technique directorship, take part within football, in a tangled but directly or indirectly related way to each other. Thus, football got far away from its simply determined appearance, and became a phenomenon that may take millions of people under its influence. Football is accepted as one of the institutions that are affected by the social, economic and cultural changes in the world. International Federation of Association Football, with its 208 members today, which overruns the number of member states of United Nations Organization, is one of the largest organizations of the world.Uniform sales, broadcasting incomes (pool), match incomes, transfers-testimonials, tournament incomes, UEFA and Champions League premiums, copyright incomes from the brand names make up the 43 % of the European clubs, while merchandise and sponsorship incomes have increased with the development of ?satellite broadcasting? and the concept of ?watch and pay? (Akşar, 2010).Along with this development, the matter of whom do the broadcasting rights of football matches on radio and especially on television and how they will be evaluated, have caused both property law and competition law disputes, in a near past, both in Europe and in our land. In our land, central marketing system, which is based solely on economical growth, was accepted (Aker, 2006:2).The quality of a football league depends on if the competitive balance exists in the mentioned league. The biggest obstacle in front of establishing a competitive league in Turkey is the inability to justly deliver the incomes gained through the broadcasting rights. The shortage in delivering the broadcasting rights incomes, known as the pool, by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), justly for the other 15 clubs, shows that they may not keep the three big clubs in the pool in another sharing way. The share given to Anatolian teams (15 teams) other than the clubs Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray, creats a deep abyssal. While the budget of many clubs in Turkey would not even reach 10 million dollars, this fact causes that our nation may not achieve prominent successes in the international arena. In this study, the relation between the football and the television that developed in the globalization process was tried to be evaluated, through the examination of live broadcasting rights incomes. The feedback of the live broadcasting rights, which is one of the most important income issues of the football in the industrialization process, was examined in detail. The national and international organizations that try to turn the football into a profitable means of investment were introduced. It wouldn?t be inappropriate to say that the supporters, club management and the footballer profiles have an input, in the deformation of the nature of the game, at least as much as the television. It was observed that the football broadcasting rights incomes, which gained value with the beginning of private television sector in Turkey, was used in a way to prevent the competition for the 18 clubs in the league. The balance shifted for the favor of Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray, removed the competition chance of 15 clubs, known as the Anatolian clubs with the other three. The fact that the clubs running in league, where the competition balance is deformed, may not be successful in the international area, was explained, by means of their rationales and examining the samples from Europe, as well.
