Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, a design which will increase the performance of visible light communication systems is given by using photodiode array. The optical transmitter features a new generation of power LEDs with different wavelengths and lenses with different beam angles. In the optical receiver section there is a sensor array consisting of photosensitive PIN photodiodes in the visible light band, the opamp comparator circuit and average voltage tracking (AVT) block. With the designed communication system, the effects of LED's light color, LED current, lens angle, distance between optical transmitter and optical receiver on the data transfer rate have been investigated
