Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, which is one of the problems of solar power plants whose applications have increased considerably, in order to prevent the decrease in efficiency as the temperature increases, the efficiency increase of the system is analyzed by using water cooling method in a 1.75 kW solar power plant in Antalya. With the valves used in the water pump outlet, the water circulation rate was controlled due to the temperature change in the system and a fully controlled system for panel cooling was obtained. 2 temperature sensors are placed in the DC cable connection points, which is the most heated part of the panels, and the reference temperature value is determined by averaging the values read from these temperature sensors. In the system, as the temperature values of the panels increase, the number of active valves is increased, thus the flow rate of the water is increased and the circulation of the water is faster and the system efficiency is increased as soon as possible with minimum evaporation and rapid cooling. The panel temperature can be connected to a temperature of 70 °C. The front of the panel has a temperature average of 55 °C in which 1 valve is deactivated and the temperature is reduced to 30 °C with only 1 valve in operation. The system is deactivated when the panel surfaces are open to 25 °C. As a result, the experiments carried out in Antalya, which is one of the provinces with the highest radiation value, resulted in an increase of 24,3% in power and 2,2% in efficiency with cooling.
