Abstract (EN)
Today the top priority for Turkey is Energy and Power generation. Presently, out of around 82 million populations, only 85-89% has access to electricity. At least to bring the populations into the facility of electricity access as much as possible within the limited resources, we have utilized the natural resources like solar and wind to fulfill this expectation. Using solar and wind energy in association with the power electronics devices, we can supply the electricity to the consumers within their ability and we will be able to minimize the power problem as possible. Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) inverter is the combination of power electronics devices which reduces the major solar crisis of costs, where costs are the big issue for developing country like Turkey. Now-a-days, the integrated circuits (IC) are so reliable and cheap that make the carrying and inverting or converting elements easiest than the bulky and costly instruments used in the conventional power supply system. The research expects that the grid integration of the renewable energy resources using CSP inverter may cause a tremendous remark in fulfilling viii the lack of power utilization across the world. Solar energy is a rapidly growing resource, already providing 4.5% of electricity in the Turkey and projected to supply up to 35% by 2050. Relying only on the strength of the wind to power its electricity-generating turbines, wind power has no marginal fuel costs. While there are still operational and maintenance costs, the lack of marginal fuel costs makes wind power highly competitive at the margin with other more established types of generation, such as coal, natural gas, hydropower, and nuclear. Furthermore, it is virtually greenhouse gas emission-free and does not pollute nor consume resources, making it a key technology in decarbonizing the grid and meeting climate goals. The modified energy model has a good agreement in energy amount and energy pattern with the actual metered CSP data. On the other hand, the default model's predictions were far from the actual metered CSP data. For renewability, the simulated renewable energy consumption with modified inputs is 3.9% below of actual metered renewable data while the default model's prediction was more than 52% below actual renewable use. Using PV-CSP hybrid model indices to represent how well a simulated model describes the variability in the measured data; the modified model has achieved accurate renewability results; with a Solar of 10.99 % and Wind of 9.90%, while the hybrid model has a solar of 57.16% and a Wind of 57.20% in renewable energy comparison being performed in MATLAB.
