Foucault's Platon(A study on Platon's spirit understanding in the context of the concept of the care of the self)

Foucault reads Plato in particular in his later lessons, especially the concept of the care of the self. It offers to think a distinctly different Plato image from traditional Plato readings. In this reading, the question of the self has changed completely because it is no longer ontological or an authentic self. Now, such a self is the self as activity. This will have a wide variety of outcomes in Platonic philosophy.
