Madness in Turkish cinema after the years of 2000 with the statement of Foucault perspective

Madness is a concept which its meaning changes and containings develops in various societies and ages. How it occurs or what it is, has been explained sometimes with odd or sin and sometimes with illness. The beliefs about what causes madness and which human states could be considered as madness, which not, shows diversities to cultures and periods but the common point of every period and culture about madness is being out of society. Cinema had a close relationship with madnessfrom its begining. This closeness needs to query how often and how madness, takes place and contribute to narrative in Turkish cinema. The study which is created with this aim is, as a first priority focused on definition of consept and the significations which articulated to the concept with time. After the transformation of the consept in historical process, the aspect of madness in cinema has been researched, in this context, cinema of the world and Turkey has been examined on basic examples. This study is focused over the approach of delusional states in films which produced after 2000 in cinema of Turkey. İn this context, the films which has been showed between 2000-2018 disclosed regarding to their themes and the ways of work and madness. The analized films shows madness, which is defined opposite of mind and from that reason which includes a contrary sence of mind and in general had a function of transmiting social and political critique in near period of cinema in Turkey.
