Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to indicate their point of views of the Frankfurt School's aspects of religion from Max Horkheimer to Jürgen Habermas. In the first chapter, the first generation of the Frankfurt School is analyzed. In this section, the Frankfurt School's main areas of interest are examined after the historical and intel-lectual background of the Frankfurt School have been discussed. In the second chapter, Habermas's views on religion and society are handled. Here, firstly, the defense of modernity and the theory of communicative action are discussed. Then the position of the religion from the Frankfurt School to Habermas and Habermas' thoughts on religion are investigated.
