Usage of information and communication technologies in french teaching

This research is a descriptive study on the usage forms of information and communication Technologies mainly in the French language teaching area by referring extensively to the related scientific resources. After a brief introduction of the main subject in the first chapter, we have tried to study the historical and philosophical aspects of the notion of the instructional technologies. In the following chapters;The elementary notions of the information and communication technologies have been explained and which promises of information communication technologies can bring has been treated. In chapter also it has been discussed the affordances and limitations of the modalities and explained the new roles of the teachers.In the fourth chapter, we have deeply interested over the usage of the information and communication technologies in the language teaching. We have tried to sort out the reasons and the forms of the usage of information and communication technologies in the language teaching. In this chapter also we have studied the different implementation examples.
