Les connecteurs logi̇ques dans les ecri̇ts argumentati̇fs des apprenants Turcs de fle et des locuteurs nati̇fs du Françai̇s: Une etude comparée

In this study, the purpose is evaluating the use of the connectors in written expression classes and substitutive texts by Turkish students studying French as a foreign language at higher educational institutions in Turkey as a grammatical problem in frequency, variety and suitability in a French-Turkish comparative manner. The population consists of the students studying at Adana Çukurova University, Educational Faculty, Foreign Languages, French Department, and the students from Rouen University, Philology Department. The data of the study were obtained by comparing the connectors in the substitutive texts, and the connectors used by award-winning Turkish and French authors after 2000s in France and Turkey. The study is both qualitative and quantitative. It was observed that the connectors used by Turkish students in Turkish substitutive texts showed similarity and overlapped when compared with the connectors used in Turkish works that received awards in terms of frequency and variety, and there were grammatical mistakes on suitability. It was observed in French substitutive texts that the connectors used by Turkish students showed similarity and overlapped on variety when compared with the connectors used in the works that received awards; however, there were grammatical mistakes on frequency and suitability. It was concluded that, when the connectors used by French students in the texts and the connectors used by Turkish students were compared, the grammatical mistakes showed similarity and overlapped on variety (successful) and suitability; however, did not show similarity and overlap on usage frequency.
