Özet (EN)

The aim of this work subjecting to Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis and A Country Doctor is to express images and metaphers, which were fictionalised on corporeality in texts via significant literature techniques. The transforming of Gregor's human body to an insect, the wound he got on his back, the teeth mark evoking a rose on Rosa's cheek, the servant girl who is working near country doctor and meaning of the wound of young patient being examined by country doctor will be explicated. Therefore initially historical development of body concept will be taken a glance. After that, with the aim of understanding specifying aspects of Kafka's commonwealth of letters, Kafka's life strory will be given place in the text. The works, being talked about, will be analysed in context of body, after style in Kafka's narrations, characters and place will be analysed. Lastly, as debating common aspects of body effect and disjunctive features in both story, theoretical expressions about body will be practically established.
