Abstract (EN)
Development of technology is accelerating in todays. Product that makes easy our routine job is presented the market with developed technology. These products' technical specification is also developed with new technology. End user is considering both new technical specification and energy consumption of the product in the market. The generated energy saving and energy efficiency awareness is needed to arise recently low energy consumption products in the market. On the other hand, both Europian Union Law and civil society is working at the same purpose for decreasing of energy demand. So producers have to presented to the market energy efficient product with these positive pressure. Producers' research and development activities are focused to producing energy efficient product with new technology, innovative idea. In this study, for increasing the efficiency of domestic oven, the effective parameters were specified. The effects of these parameters on energy consumption were investigated by experimental studies. The experimental studies test results were compared with the corporate software "Domestic Oven Simulation Program". Development activities of existing modules in Oven Simulation Program were conducted. This thesis study is composed of seven main chapters. In chapter one, motivation and aim of this study were explained in general terms as an introduction. In the second chapter, literature researches about thesis were outlined. As a result of this research were presented. After the literature research, it was noticed that, the research is generally represents the parameters that effects on energy consumption of domestic built-in oven separately. Furthermore, the oven simulation studied in this thesis was not observed in numerical analysis studies in literature. In the third chapter, the method used for determining the energy consumption of oven is described step by step. Required criteria for correct measurement of energy consumption was discussed and required information contained in the standard were shared. In the fourth chapter, the corporate software "Domestic Oven Simulation Program" was introduced. In this chapter, an operation principle of the software was described and user interface was characterized. In chapter five, experiments were done within this thesis were described. In this chapter, test parameters and values of these parameters were shown. The effects of these parameters on energy consumption were defined. In the sixth chapter, improved modules of corporate software "Domestic Oven Simulation Program" were discussed and mathematical models running behind the software were shared. In the final chapter, results of this study have been evaluated and suggestions have been proposed.
