A review on Füsun Akatlı's criticism

Füsun Akatlı, one of the most prominent critics of modern Turkish literature, continued to write criticism from the 1970s until her death (2010). In addition to her books of critical writings, Füsun Akatlı was also an essayist and academic. She also produced various compilations, editorial works and translations. In this study, it is aimed to examine the criticism of Füsun Akatlı, who has influenced the field of literature with her criticism and whose competence is accepted by the literary circles and who has served as a jury in many literary competitions and won awards, in detail and to reveal her place in Turkish literature and her contributions to literature. In this direction, in addition to the books written by the author, her interviews, interviews, etc. will also be included in the scope of the study. In the introduction part of the study, the relationship between the concepts of literary criticism, literary criticism and essay, literary criticism and philosophy is mentioned and the relationship between Füsun Akatlı's criticism is examined. In the first chapter, the adventure of literary criticism in the history of Turkish literature and the place of Füsun Akatlı are emphasized. In the second chapter, Füsun Akatlı's biography, her works, and her views on criticism and critics are discussed. In the third section, which constitutes the main body of the study, his criticisms are analyzed on the basis of genre as "story-novel-poem" and criticism and critical reviews respectively. In the conclusion section, the findings of the whole study and the determinations about the author's criticism are given.
