Abstract (EN)
The Covid-19 pandemic process has led to the implementation of restrictions for many sports branches in the world and in Turkey. Football is one of the sports most affected by the pandemic. Competitions and training have become impossible. In the study, it was aimed to examine the effect of home training on psychological resilience and mental well-being in football players during the covid-19 pandemic process. The population of the research consisted of football players playing in the regional amateur league in Turkey, and the sample consisted of 401 male football players selected by random sampling method. Data were collected online due to the pandemic. For this purpose, the Psychological Resilience Scale (PBL) developed by Işık (2016) and the Mental Well-Being Scale developed by Tennant et al. (2007) and adapted into Turkish by Keldal (2015) were used as data collection tools. For the normality distribution of the data, the kurtosis skewness values were checked and it was determined that the data showed a normal distribution. Independent Samples t test, oneway ANOVA with LSD test, and correlation analysis for correlation control were used in the analysis of the data. Statistically significant results were found according to age and education level (p<0.05). There were no significant results according to monthly income, years of playing football, doing additional work, being professional and marital status (p>0.05). A moderate and above positive correlation was found between psychological resilience and mental well-being (p<0.05). Statistically significant results were found according to age and education level (p<0.05). There were no significant results according to monthly income, years of playing football, doing additional work, being professional and marital status (p>0.05). A moderate and above positive correlation was found between psychological resilience and mental well-being (p<0.05). As a result, according to the age variable and educational status of the Regional Amateur League football players, it has been observed that the training they have done at home during the Covid-19 Pandemic has a positive effect on psychological resilience and mental well-being.
