On some result in probabilistic and fuzzy metric spaces

In this thesis it is tried to make a compilation in the theory of fuzzy and probabilistic metric spaces. The thesis consists of four sections. In the first part the introduction takes place. In the second part it is examined triangular norms and conorms and t-norms continuity, ordinal sums by examples in order to help the more recent parts. In the third part some kinds of contraction map definitions used in fixed point theory in probabilistic metric space are given and some fixed point theories are proved by examining the relations between the definitions. In the last part some definitions and theorems are given in the fuzzy metric space. Some related theorems proved and relations between them are also given.
