Abstract (EN)

Supernova remnants are the remains of supernova explosions which occur in the final stage of the evolution of massive stars. In order to understand the chemical abundance of interstellar medium and the explosion types of progenitor stars which led to supernova explosions, the systematical study of supernova remnants are very important. The study of supernova remnants in our galaxy is impeded high extinction due to the dust and gas in the Galactic plane. However, in the study of extra-galactic supernova remnants, this problem is minimized.In this study, an optical search is carried out for supernova remnants in the nearby spiral galaxies NGC 3344 and NGC 3184 using optical and spectral observations. The observations have been performed by using RTT 150 telescope at TUG (Turkish National Observator) at Antalya Turkey and also with the 6 m (BAT) (Bolsoi Azimuthal Telescope at SAO (Special Astrophysical Observatory). The MIDAS astronomical software package is used for data reduction and analysis We made the first identification of süpernova remnants among the candidates using basic criterion [SII]/H? ?0.4. In addition, we also searched for the X-ray and radyo counterparts to these supernova remnants using the archival data with several succesful identifications.
