Özet (EN)
This study consists of five parts. The introduction is given in the first part of the thesis. In the second part, the basic definitions and theorems to be used in this study are mentioned. Later, previous studies on the subject were detailed with a comprehensive literature review. In the third part, a new Gamma type operator has been identified, modifying classic Gamma type operators. Some features of this operator, such as Voronovskaya type theorem, weighted approximation, rate of convergence, pointwise estimated were examined. Later, this new modification was presented with numerical results to indicate the operators effectiveness over conventional operators. In the fourth section, a new class of Gamma-type operators in the literature was defined. The approach properties were examined by applying quantitative and Voronovskaya type approximation theorems for this operator. In addition, some numerical results have been given to further embody the approach properties of this new operator. Finally, in the fifth chapter, the studies carried out in the thesis are summarized and some suggestions for further studies are given.
