Yusuf u Zuleyha of Garib's: Analysis-critisised text-index

The core of this study consists of a mathnawi called Yusuf u Zuleyha, whose poet?s nickname is Garib and which has been detected as one of the Old Anatolian Turkish texts in terms of both the language and the presence of the words used in it.Essentially, this study, which consists of analysis, critisised text and index, includes five sections.In the introduction part, we have mainly focused on the sources of the story of Yusuf u Zuleyha and a short information on the works, in Arabic, Persian and the Turkish literature, of which themes are based on this story has been given. In the first part; by setting off with the only detected work of the person,having written Yusuf u Zuleyha, whose name isn?t mentioned in any source, we have tried to give information about this person?s literary personality. In the second part, the name of the work, the verse form, the meter and etc. have been analysed under the title of Garib?s Yusuf u Zuleyha. The third part covers a comprenhensive examination of the main titles of internal structure of Yusuf u Zuleyha and the external structure of Yusuf u Zuleyha. In the following fourth part, the detected copies of the mathnawi have been charecterized and only after an evaluation of these copies, the critisised text has been presented under the subtitle of Text.In the conclusion part, a general evaluation of the study has been done. In the index part of the study, the special names and the archaic words in the text have been arranged together with their the couplet numbers. Following the bibliography, under the title of appendix the manuscript samples of the work have been presented.Key Words: Mathnawi, Yusuf u Zuleyha, Old Anatolian Turkish, Garib.
