Abstract (EN)
Due to the Mongols? cruelty, 13th and 14th centuries were periods of administrative chaos and social conflicts in Anatolia. During this chaotic period, mystic scholars and suphies, such as Mawlana and Yunus Emre, always attempted for the unity of the people by using the religion. Certainly, Ashik Pasha was also one of such leaders. In his writings, he guided the people and tried to help them to alleviate the social athmosphere by using the spiritual dynamics. Gharib-nameh was one of his such works. He explained in that work the esence of the religion and the reality of the life in hundred stories. Each subject in Ashik Pasha?s Gharib-nameh was supported by Quran verses. The present thesis discusses the relation between Gharib-nameh and Quran. Moreover, it gives information about Ashik Pasha?s life, works, and Gharib-nameh. It also presents sellected examples explaining Ashik Pasha?s approach to Quran verses.Garib-nameh is a work of religious-mystical. Topics covered in this work is based on the similarity of human being and the universe. In fact, as stated by the author a human being is a small universe; that is why, human being can recognize himself/herself in recognition of the universe and similarly the recognition of the universe results the recognition of himself / herself. Ashik Pasha argues that the recognition of human being himself/herself or the recognition of the universe will result the recognition of Allah. This is one of the most important arguments of Sufism, namely, ?who knows himself/herself knows Allah?. The author tries to prove his claim by giving stories about the similarity of human being and the universe, and the examples in these stories aresupported by Quran verses.
