In this study, the employment status of the students graduated from Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty Music Education Branch was determined. The population of the study are 283 students graduated from Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty Music Education Branch between 2002- 2006. The simple consisted of 114 students, who were able to be reached among 2002- 2006 Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty Music Education Branch graduates. The data acquired through the questionnaire was analyzed by means of frequency and percentage values and shown in tables. In the result of the study, the employment status of the students graduated was determined, the effect of the music teaching program on the music teacher candidates preparetion, their expectations of finding work and professions they desired to become were determined. In the study some suggestions were made according to the results.
