Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is the examination of the Vocational Education Faculty Hat Making Techniques I and II syllabus according to the students? views.The study population is the composition of the 104 students who attended Vocational Education Faculty Hat Making Techniques I and II courses programs in between 2006 and 2007. In this paper, since the entire population has been reached the data group has not been taken. With this study, the questioners have been applied to the students. Frequency and percentage analyses of the findings reached by the questioners have been computed.At the result of the study, it has been observed that the students, who attended Hat Making Techniques (HMT) courses, showed interest their courses partially. It has been ascertained that since the HMT courses are partial sufficient enough on behalf of reaching the goaled aims, the goaled aims have been reached partially and; the syllabus is partial sufficient for the concept and compensating the expectations, as well.Considering the quantity, technique equipment, and numbers of tools the workshops have been found out insufficient. It has been observed that there has not been sufficient material use in the courses and there has been partial hardship about supporting the materials which are used in product making.It has been seen that there have not been satisfactory written sources and foreign sources could not have been supplied.It has been said that the variety of the hats in the market have been partially reflected to the products applied in the courses and the teaching techniques are satisfying. However; it has been observed that the chance of improving creativity is not given to the students and the reforms of the other countries are not followed during the courses.The partial likeness of the hats and their materials between the ones that are produced in the courses and the ones produced in shops has been observed.The products that are made during the courses have been said to take interest outside of the school partially. It has been found out that the products are shown and sold, as well. Nevertheless; it has been stated that there has not been any association to support these products? marketing.
