The familiarity of Gazi University students on web-based distant instruction

Observation of the `distant learning models including internet (world-wide-web) based distant-learning applications throughout Gazi University model and observing the familiarity of the students on this model of instruction is forming this thesis? study area.In this case, studying of the Gazi University with the coordination of Informatics Institude; education system substructure and studying education coordination process, within transferration and activity substructure, familiarity of Associate of Science students for distant-learning and the level of usage of the learning tools in distant-learning. The familiarity of the Gazi University students is located as at upper-middle level.In this aspect, in the study specialised in Gazi University, the nessesity of the distant-education system, application deparment, coordination, structure of study, the ways, the information of study system about distant education system is given. It?s stated that the content and the supply units of Gazi University responds the defined planning and coordination.It?s reliased that, the tools to recieve information, the level of contact and reaching to information is studied for the optimum information level, the needs and the location necessities, plannings and advantages-disadvantages are studied on distance-education.It?s observed that the programme frame is located at upper level to respond the learning hardware and units. It?s also observed that the programme frame is enough at responding needs.In the study, the capacity of taking advantage of Associate of Science students which are present in the system of Gazi University and the profficiency of system are presented.
