In this study, it is aimed to determine the types of Diptera that may be important in terms of criminal entomology in Gaziantep province. In the province of Gaziantep (Şehitkamil) two different loqualities, including shade and sunshine, were selected and traps with chicken livers were placed. Examples of eggs, larvae, pupae and adult samples were collected for a period of one year in a recurring monthly manner. Identification of the collected samples was carried out using a stereo microscope. As a result, including 4 species (Calliphora vicina, C. vomitoria Chrysomya albiceps, Lucilia sericata) belonging to 3 subfamily of Calliphoridae and 6 species (Sarcophaga (Bercaea) africa, S. (Liopygia) crassipalpis, S. (Liosarcophaga) dux, S. lehmanni, S. (Helicophagella) melanura, ve S. (Liosarcophaga) tibialis) belonging to 1 subfamily of Sarcophagidae total of 10 species were determined. This study will be an important source for criminal entomology where a limited number of studies are conducted in our country.
