Evaluation of hadiths inscribed in some architectural works in Gaziantep central districts

Hadiths are the most basic source for Muslims after the Qur'an. Throughout history, Muslim societies have given a special importance to hadiths due to their devotion to the Prophet (p.b.u.h). They considered it their duty to reflect his sunnah and hadiths in all areas of life. While some hadiths continue to have an impact on social life, others may have remained on the pages of books or escaped attention even though they were in plain sight. For this reason, how the hadiths take place in social life, how they are used, what kind of messages they give to the society are important issues that need to be brought to light and to attention. In this thesis, the sources of the hadiths on the buildings of mosques, cemeteries, condolence houses, high schools and secondary schools in the central districts of Gaziantep, Şehitkamil and Şahinbey, will be determined and evaluated.
