A research on growth feature of Sorbus L. that introduction at the Gaziantep University botanic garden

An investigation about growing characteristic of the Sorbus L. species which are made introduction in Botanic Garden of Gaziantep University. Sorbus domestica L., S. torminalis (L.) Crantz, S. americana Marsh, S. graeca (Spach) Kotschy and S. aria (L.) Crantz species used in this research. S. domestica L. well germinated (%89) and S. torminalis (L.) Crantz well increased in height (204 cm) in proportions are best values. As a result of this study, S. domestica L. and S. torminalis (L.) Crantz are use to Gaziantep recreation area are suitable.
