Abstract (EN)

Ghazali, who is the name at the center of the distinction between early and late periods in the tradition of Islamic science and thought, has great importance in the methodological evolution of Islamic sciences. Because, by learning the science of logic after he studied fiqh, he combined the knowledge production methodologies of both religious sciences and mental sciences into his own scientific acquis. This study aims to clarify the nature of the relationship established by Ghazali, who inherited both the jurisprudence and logic tradition, within the framework of his works. The study, which will focus on al-Ghazali's activity of combining jurisprudence and logic, consists of three parts. In the first chapter, Ghazali's conception of logic is included and the way he is influenced by his inherited logical ideas is revealed. In the second part, Gazzâlî's conception of the fiqh method is examined and his belonging and contributions to the mutakallim method are discussed. In the third chapter, intellectual constructions were made on the nature of the relationship that Ghazali established between logic and fiqh, and the methodological and executive tools he used when combining these two sciences were clarified. In addition, scholars have identified that Gazzali was influenced by this relationship.
