The results of vital factors such as migration from village to city, keeping up with the modern age, increasing the world population; extreme selectivity in food consumption, uncontrolled food consumption, increased waste and not being able to find a place for waste in life. For all these reasons, the effects of food wastes that threaten our own generation and the lives of future generations, the sustainability of energy and natural resources, and the lives of living things have reached visible dimensions. One of the factors that cause the climate crisis that the whole world is trying to solve is the existence of food waste. Recycling of these wastes is of vital importance. Thanks to the developing technology, it is possible to produce bioproducts with economic value by using biotechnological methods from food waste. With the application of pyrolysis technology, composting, solid state fermentation and biomass conversion processes of biowaste determined as raw material, biomass, substrate, products that can contribute to many fields such as agriculture, livestock, transportation, industry, energy, economy and health are obtained. In this thesis, biomass conversion, pyrolysis, solid state fermentation and compost technologies were compared and bioproducts obtained from food waste and the areas where the products were used were investigated. Products produced by biomass conversion processes contribute to kinetic energy, products produced by pyrolysis to bioenergy, products produced by solid state fermentation contribute to the field of biomedicine and cleaning industry, and composting to biodynamic agriculture. By making use of published reports, international applied or theoretical scientific studies, national regulations, experimental intervention studies, statistical data, information on the characteristics of recyclable or recovery wastes and the applicability of which biotechnological methods and bioproducts can be obtained by collecting individual, social and institutional information. Examples that will cause an increase in the level of consciousness were collected together.
