Quality function deployment approach in food sector to design for customer-specific product by an application

Abstract (EN)

Production of quality products, whose first applications date back to BC 2150, has evolved as a concept of quality until recently. This concept explains, apart from the standard product production of the enterprises, customer demands must be met completely. Quality Function Deployment aims to spread customer requests to every step of production in order to create targeted product or service. Thus, the voice of the customer will affect every step of the production and enable the targeted value of the final product to be achieved. In the first part of this study, conceptual explanations about the concept of quality have been made, explanations related to quality in customer-specific design products in the food sector and literature review have been made. In the second part, explanations about Quality Function Deployment are made and concepts are defined. In the third part, quantitive SWOT analysis is performed to analyze the current situation of the enterprise. In addition, following the definitions of Quality Function Deployment, a Quality House was established.
