In this cross-sectional study we enrolled totaly 308 women in their 32th week of pregnancy or above who admitted to the outpatient clinics of 'Aydin Kadın Doğum ve Çocuk Hastalıkları' hospital between October –December 2015. We determined that the pregnant women was getting mostly support from their %70,5 "husbands" and they buy the first stuff with their %46,7 "themselves/husband/children" in third trimaster. %36 Usage of the rest from their previous children was the most important reason for not making baby preperation. The prenatal attachment scores found higher in the pregnants whose husband were working as an officer or worker or in pregnants working themselves. These scores were higher in the pregnants who were from North /West or Middle Anatolia, not born or not stillbirth and have a health problem, too. The prenatal attachment scores were increasing with the rising educational status, occupational status, and family income. The preparations for baby during pregnancy scores found higher in the pregnants whose husband were working as an officer or worker or in pregnants working themselves. These scores were higher in the pregnants who were from North /West or Middle Anatolia, not born or having a desired pregnancy, too. The preparations for baby during pregnancy scores were increasing with the rising job status, family income and the pregnancy week. This study revealed that; there are a positive correlations between the preparations for baby during pregnancy and prenatal attachment, between the preparations for baby during pregnancy and social support and between prenatal attachment and social support. Pregnants were influenced by their own culture and socio-economic characteristics while making preparations for baby during pregnancy. Prenatal attachment development may be supported by education of pregnats about the preparations for the baby. Further studies are needed for the determination of the correlation between prenatal attachment and the preparations for baby during pregnancy.
