Examination of Gebze National Garden (Adventure Park) in terms of landscape design criteria

Expansions and open green spaces in functions are reasons to increase security measures. Urban parks, which are a part of these structures, are social environments that increase people's life security, provide various recreational services, and are a strong part of the urban aesthetic and architectural exhibition. The design and sustainability of urban parks, which allow the citizens to renew and rest themselves mentally and physically, is very important. Within the scope of this study, by examining the course of the 'Eskihisar Millet Garden and Adventure Park' and its relations with the functional and aesthetic functioning of plant design examples, the user determines comments based on an interest on these design examples and gives a general idea about the comprehensive and plant design of the park going to Landscape Architecture design evaluation. no evaluation has been made. In accordance with this purpose; The literature on the subject has been used. Then, what was done to obtain on-site observation detection data was photographed. In order to make an overall assessment of the functional and aesthetic quality of these key points, the park's requirements, and the plant design, two different expert groups were surveyed on perceptibility and landscape preferences. The survey results were evaluated using the SPSS 22.0 package program for different statistical servers. According to the research requirements, it has been revealed that the user, targeting different work products of a discipline design, does not reveal the aims of the park and the visual appearance of the plant design. In addition, Eskihisar's millet garden and adventure park's destination and plant design achieved the Landscape Architecture design awards at a medium level.
