Performing cost analysis of traditional Gümüshane house type buildings by modeling with different bearing systems

Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of this study, 5 different architectural models were designed similar to the architectural plans of traditional Gümüşhane houses. In order to determine the effect of the structural system type on the total cost, these architectural projects were selected and their static modeling was completed by choosing 3 different types of bearing systems: masonry, frame and curtain systems. Static analyzes of the models were made using the local soil class and earthquake design class values obtained from the specific coordinates of Gümüşhane Center and its districts with the STA4CAD program. While performing the static analyzes, the Turkish Building Earthquake Regulation (TBDY-2019), which came into force in 2019, was taken as a basis. When the analyzes were completed, it was seen that the static analysis results of the 15 models were sufficient. In addition, the quantity calculations of the models whose analyzes were completed. Total rough construction costs according to the quantity calculations of all completed models were obtained by using the unit price values for the years 2021 and 2022 determined by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. As a result of modeling the traditional Gümüşhane houses using today's construction technologies and construction materials and calculating the total costs in order to keep the urban culture alive, it is aimed to appeal to low-income, middle income and high-income families according to income level.
