Özet (EN)
Today, the art of embroidery shows itself in Anatolia and different geographies. Whether these types of embroidery originated in Anatolia or in different geographies, embroidery has always been the favorite of women. Although traditional embroidery continues today, we see it in our homes and even in the dowry of women who will marry in Anatolia in modern embroidery, which has been augmenting traditional embroidery in recent years, but has a deep-rooted history like traditional embroidery. Some of these modern embroideries are 3D and have entered our homes from different geographies. The biggest difference of modern embroidery from traditional embroidery is that it is easier and does not require as much effort as traditional embroidery. Despite this, it does not break away from traditional embroidery. Traditional embroideries are also made in a more modern way in different geographies. The subject of this thesis is the application of traditional embroideries and 3D embroideries made today on clothes. With this thesis, 3D embroidery techniques and embroidery can be taken further and how modern and traditional embroidery can be used in harmony and together. For this reason, in this study, information about both traditional and modern embroidery is given and their usage patterns and features are emphasized. In addition, information was given about the people who carried the art of embroidery to a different level with their contributions. At the end of the thesis with the findings, a project was made using 3D embroidery and different techniques. Finally, it was mentioned that traditional embroidery should be reconstructed by interpreting it with different techniques.
