Preparing mould design and teaching programme proposal for computerized embroidery machineries on the Turkish handwork of the traditional Turkish embroideries.

In this research, Turkish Handworks products at the Prof. Ülker Muncuk Museum of Gazi University Vocational Education Faculty have been examined. The goal was to reveal technical features, to redound to today while respecting its original, to prepare mould design so Turkish Handwork can be executed on computerized embroidery machineries, to prepare the education program proposal which includes all stages and to be an example for similar works.Products of Turkish Handwork in Prof. Ülker Muncuk Museum of Gazi University Vocational Education Faculty have been examined and technical features of Turkish Handworks have been recorded.On the examined products examplarary figures were drawn. Figure moulds were prepared on EOS-Compucon Embroidery Design Programme using Turkish Handwork needle techniques. Prepared figure moulds were tried on computurized embroidery machineries, and by correcting them they were turned into products. It was concluded that Turkish Handwork could be implemented with this programme. Teaching Programme of Turkish Handwork has been prepared in the EOS-Compucon Embroidery Design Programme.Only qualitative individuals receveived this education can accomplish attaining the characteristics of Turkish Handwork related to the Tradional Turkish Embroideries to coming generations without disorder as well as implementation and spreading in the embroidery sector.As the conclusion of this research;1.In the Embroidery Training,1.1.Teaching programmes similar to Turkish Handwork needle techniques and Suzeni, Appliqué, White Handwork etc. of the Traditional Turkish Embroideries and EOS-Compucon Embroidery Design Programme should be prapared by Other Computer-Aided Embroidery Design Programmes.1.2. Teaching programmes prepared in connection with Embroidery Design Programmes should be tried, developped and spread as resource.1.3.The mentioned teaching programme should be updated according to technological changes and advancements.2. In the Embroidery Sector, training seminars explaining the technique features of Traditional Turkish Embroideries should be planned for pattern designers in the sector.
