Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to efect the musical components that belong to Westernmusic in the works of artirts known as violonists and composers inthe TraditionalTurkish Art Music circles and to determine whether this Works can be used in violineducation through asking student and specialist opinions.In the study, 9 violin composer?s 283 works were analyzed. The analyses includedmusical dynamics, chromatic passages, double voices,fast passages, arpeggios,chords and wider intervals.According to these analyses, 10 works performed and recorded by the researcher.Next, the student and specialist opinions were asked to determine whether thesetypes of works can be used in violin education repertoire.We suggest that among the Traditional Turkish Art Music violonist composersWorks can be more useful for violin education. This usefulness can be seen in theWorks of Reşat Aysu and Haydar Tatlıyay. The musical ingredients of such Workscan be an important bridge connecting the Traditional Turkish Music with welltempered Western musical system. Thanks to this musical ingredients the studentspracticing violi according to the tradition can understand maqamic music beter, thestudents practicing violin according to the Turkish Music tradition can alsodistinguish Western music components more easily.The results of this study show that there are musical components that are related toWestern music in the works of the composers analyzed in the study. Thus, it can besaid that these and such Works can be embedded violin education program, used atmusic education branches of the Education Faculties in Turkey.
